In the next few days they will finish out the cabinets, counters, and sink, and install lights and appliances. Then they will refinish all the floors and finally I will be able to do some interior painting. Then it will be all done! Hard to believe.

Round 7--Exterior

Here are shots of the exterior halfway through completion. The new color scheme is oddly similar to the old one--but I like it better. I think the red will look nice. More to come today!

Round 7--coming up

This week will move fast. We are getting new flooring in early this week. Wednesday, they'll be finishing all the trim throughout. Then by Thursday the cabinets and counters will be installed in the kitchen, and the kitchen will be tiled.

Round 6--Foundation is all brand new!

New pilings in, and the whole back bricked back in and stuccoed over. All in all, we raised the back of this house by 2 1/2 half inches. It is now as solid as any house can possibly be. The crawl space is filled in, evened out, cleaned up, and water-free. Access only through one framed-in access panel. No more beer parties under Dahlgren House!
